Introduction: Choquequirao or known as gold cradle and Machupicchu, are places situated on the heights of the mountains, almost inaccessible, with spectacular views and are interconnected by well built Incas trail. The trekking route shows a spectacular landscapes walking through traditional Andean villages.

Itinerary:
DAY 1: CUSCO - CACHORA - CHIKISKA We will pick you up early at hotel. At 6:00 am we will board a bus toward Cachora town where we will meet a person who will helps to lead horses during the walking trip. After lunch we’ll begin the hiking going down at aroun 6 hours toward warm Chikiska camp site where we will spend the night.
DAY 2: CHIKISKA - CHOQUEQUIRAO After a good breakfast ( we will need it) we begin the walk going down until Playa Rosalina starting there to up hill to community of Marampata where we get amazing view while we have the lunch, afterward we follow until our camp site located at 40 minutes before to arrive to Choquequirao ruins.
DAY 3: CHOQUEQUIRAO This day we will stay a full day visiting all archeological site of course in a guided tour having free time too to explore by your self and enjoining the wonderful views surround the great Choquequirao.
DAY 4: CHOQUEQUIRAO - MAIZALEarly morning we start to walk with direction Corihuarachina glacier, important due to some archeological remains such as Inca channels going down until Rio Blanco where we will have the lunch then relax in the river taking a bath aferward we will start on the upward climb until Maizal camping.
DAY 5: MAIZAL - YANAMA During the journey of this day we will ascend for 3 hours, we will descend surrounding abra of Yanama (Yanama pass), then we will stop at Minas Victoria (Victoria mines), as an extra activity you will be able to extract some silver blocks (very abundant mineral for this area), at moment these mines are abandoned. Lunch will be for this sector. Then we will descend until our camping in Yanama Andean village.
DAY 6: YANAMA / TOTORA Today we trek surrounded by the high mountains of the Vilcabamba Range full of Ichu grass and of Tarwi brush, we go up to the Yanama Pass (4580 meters), highest pass on the trail where we can appreciate the Condor. You continue down river arriving to the hamlet of Totora, where we camp. This place has indescribable beauty, calmness and pure nature surrounded by the glaciers Salcantay, Padreyoc and Pumasillo.
DAY 7: TOTORA / PLAYA This day we will walking Following the Totora River you enter an area of high cloud forest where we will see small plantations of bananas, passion fruit, coffee, arriving later to La Playa, spending the night there.
DAY 8: PLAYA /AGUAS CALIENTES In the morning we will begin our walk, we will ascend for a small hill that will leads us to one of the small dispersed archaeological groups called Llaqtapata, in this place we will see a figured rock that was worked to use it with astronomical purposes. Then we will arrive to hydroelectric train station to have the lunch there, after two hours more on foot will arrive to Aguas Calientes town where we will enjoy the hot spring, spending the night in a hotel.
DAY 9: AGUAS CALIENTES /MACHUPICCHU / CUSCO We wake up early to walk for one hour until Machupicchu cita getting an extensive guided tour. Then you will have free time to explore by your self the ruins climbing also until Huaynapicchu (top of Machupicchu ruins) on afternoon we take a return bus to Aguas Calientes where our guide will wait for us to take the train with direction to Cusco city arriving there around 08:00 pm.
