Brief Itinerary:

Day 1: Lima

Aarriveal in Lima, reception and transfer to the hotel for two nights.

Day 2: Lima

After breakfast, city tour of Lima including the main square, the Cathedral, San Francisco Catacombs and a visit to a museum of your choice. Free afternoon.

Day 3: Lima - Cusco

Flight across the Andes to Cusco, in the afternoon visits to the Imperial city and their surroundings, the four nearby ruins: Sacsayhuamán, Qenko, Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay.

Day 4: Cusco - Sacred Valley of the Inkas

Full-day excursion to the sacred valley of the Incas and to the ancient Inca market town of Pisac. A visit will be made to Ollantaytambo, the only Inca town that was not defeated by the Spanish. A chance to explore the ruins before returning to Cuzco and the traditional market town of Chinchero. Return to your hotel.

Day 5: Cusco - Machupicchu

Transfer to the railway station for the train to Machupicchu and overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Day 6: Machupicchu

Visit and opportunity to enjoy a wonderful sunrise over Machupicchu. Full day's guided tour in private of Machupicchu, the most spectacular ancient city in the world. Return to Cusco. Transfer to you hotel.

Day 7: Cusco

Free morning. Afternoon guided visit the Cathedral and the Koricancha or Temple of the Sun.

Day 8: Cusco - Puno

Drive to Puno by bus, sightseeing in route visiting along the way some archaeological sites such as Racchi and Andahuaylillas church. Reception and transfer to the hotel in Puno.

Day 9: Puno - Lake Titicaca

Depart Puno, boat to full day Lake Titicaca excursion including Uros and Amantani Islands.

Day 10: Puno - Lima

Journey towards Juliaca, and an excursion to the Sillustani towers. These ancient funereal towers dating back to pre-inca times are examples of the most ancient cultures found on the altiplano. Transfer to Juliaca airport for the flight to Lima. Aarriveal and transfer to your hotel.

Day 11: Lima - Iquitos

Transfer to the airport for the flight to Iquitos, in the heart of the Amazon jungle. The trip along the Amazon will allow you to enjoy a wonderful panorama in which the beauty of the Amazon makes its way through the lush jungle, and where picturesque villages appear on the shores of the river. Aarriveal at the lodge.

Day 12: Iquitos

After breakfast, a fullday exploration of the primary jungle reserve in the Yanayacu River ecosystem followed by a navigation in open boats on the Amazon River to spot for pink dolphins. Overnight in ecolodge.

Day 13: Amazon Jungle

Breakfast at the lodge and then return to Iquitos and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day free for shopping and personal activities.

Day 14: Iquitos - Lima - Mancora

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight to Lima and then a connecting flight to Tumbes. Transfer to the wonderful private resort in Mancora on the Pacific Ocean, complete with private beach and all amenities. Dinner and retire to the wonderful honeymoon bungalow.

Day 15: Mancora

Breakfast at the lodge. Free day to enjoy the private beach. Lunch either a BBQ on the beach or in the restaurant.

Day 16: Mancora - Lima

After breakfast, transfer to Tumbes for the flight to Lima and for your onward connecting flight home.
