Itinerary:

 

travel peru operator Day 1: / Cusco/ City tour

Transfer from Cusco airport to selected hotel. In the afternoon we going to collect from your hotel to begin with City Tour (from 2:00pm to 6:00pm) visiting in a guided tour the Qoricancha (temple of Sun), such as four archaeological remains at 08 km from the City as Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay.

Not includes meals.

travel peru operator Day 2: Cusco/ Sacred valley

Collection from hotel to board our bus, this day we visit the traditional villages of Cusco located in the sacred Valley, pisac, urubamba, Ollantaytambo and chinchero where we get a guided tour in each point. This tour start at 09:00 am ending at 6 or 7:00 pm aproximatly.

travel peru operator Day 3: Inca Trail: Cusco – Huayllabamba.

We will pick you up at your hotel in Cusco to drive 2 hours to the small Andean town of Chilca and on to the trailhead at Piscacucho. Here we will meet our porters and camp staff. As our porters load the heavy gear, we head off down river alongside the rushing Vilcanota River, through pretty cactus gardens with magnificent views of the Wakay-wilca snow-peak, to our right. We'll arrive at the Inca town of Llactapata and spend some time exploring this site before continuing up the Cusichaca valley to the hamlet of Huallaybamba where we camp for the night within view of the river

travel peru operator Day 4: Huayllabamba - Pacaymayo

After breakfast, we continue walk up through remnant cloud forest , ascending steadily to the head of a valley below the high pass of Warmiwanusca (4200 M.A.S.L) If the climate is good we’ll get spectacular views of the Huayanay snow peaks as we climb steadily over the pass and down to tree line in the Pacasmayo Valley.

travel peru operator Day 5: Pacasmayo - Wiñayhuayna

Today, a steady one to two hour climb takes us over the second pass where we pick up out first real signs of paved inca road, climbing an impressive carved stairway to the minor ruins of Runturacayt. Continuing up this Inca stairway we cross the pass and drop down to the major and spectacular ruins of Sayacmarca.for lunch. Your guide will explain some of the mysteries of Incan architecture and Inca life and we’ll continue on along an exquisite paved Inca road, passing through moss and orchid laden cloud forest afterwar until our next campsite in Winay-wayna.

travel peru operator Day 6: Winay-wayna - Machu Picchu

This site was only discovered in the 1940's and rivals Machu Picchu in splendor. From here its 2 hours through tree-fern laded cloud forest to Intipunku, the sun gate, where we get our first and awe-inspiring view of the citadel of MachuPicchu. We'll linger here and then wander through Machu Picchu itself in the late afternoon. After the tour you will have free time to wander around, and then we will drive by bus down to Aguas Calientes. In the afternoon return by train to Cusco.Transfer to your hotel.

At your aarriveal to Puno transfers to selected hotel.

Personal porters can be hired to help carry your personal items such as clothes, sleeping bag etc. They can be hired for $70 for all 4 days and will carry up to a maximum of 12kg (usually 1 porter between 2 persons is more than sufficient). You can hire the services of a half a porter to carry up to 6kg for US$35. However, even with a personal porter, you will still need to bring a day pack for essential items.

Important note: You must decide if you want to hire the services of a personal porter in advance when making your trek reservation since we need to purchase the porter's trekking permit. You cannot decide to hire an additional porter once you arrive in Cusco.

This day will be special because we will visit a traditional village of Andean spending the day there where you can visit thier school and of course you will enjoy the Andean life. We will spend the night in Cusco.

At 6:30. Collection from hotel to board the bus from Cusco to Puno city. This day we drive making stop in different points of the route visiting Andahuylillas (colonial church) Rajchy (archaeological site) La Raya (hot spring located on border with Puno) finally Pucara (archaeological site). Once arrived to Puno city transfer to the hotel.

travel peru operator Day 9: Puno / Uros and Amantani Islands (Titicaca Lake)

After breakfast we will be transferred to harbor in Puno where we start the tour on Titikaka Lake visiting the floating Islands of Los Uros, and head towards Amantani where we spend the night with at family home.

 

Include: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

After a healthy breakfast we will board the boat to move around Taquile Island, exploring the biggest Island of this highest navigable lake in the world afterward we will get back to Puno city aarriveing there at around 4:00 pm. Transfer to the hotel.

Today we will transfered to Airport of Juliaca, (at 1 hour from Puno) where we will fly to Lima. End of our service.

We can return by bus until Cusco too getting Lima from Cusco.
