Itinerary:


visit cusco peru DAY 1: CUSCO/ MOLLEPATA/ SORAYPAMPA

Early morning. Collection from your hotel to drive at around 02 hours until Mollepata village (2800 m.a.s.l) getting a direct contact with the rustic and nature landscape. Once in Mollepata we will get ready all our equipment meeting boy horse who will help to carry tents, meals, and all equipment .Afterward we start to walk over trail used by the andean people arriving to Cruz pata where we will have the lunch after a one hour rest we continue untill Soraypampa campsite (3.850 m.a.s.l) where we will enjoy a nice view of Humantay snow capped mountain and where we will spend the first night.

 

Puno Titicaca peru DAY 2 : SORAYPAMPA/ SALKANTAY PASS/ CHALLWAY

After a good breakfast we begin the trekk going up slowly until Salkantay pass (4525 m.a.s.l) where we will have the opportunity to admire the extraordinary beauty of the nature and the marvelous snow-covered mountain called Salkantay (5600). Along with it we will also be able to appreciate the snow-covered mountain of Humantay (5917m.a.s.l) After a short break in the pass we go down for around 4 hours through a nice trail to Challway campsite, this is over lower and warm than first campsite 2.900 m.a.s.l where we have the dinner spending the night there too.

This day we will walk over tropical zone and cloud forest appreciating small water volcanoes, some orchids and different kinds of plants, and of course will enjoy also the passion fruit (granadillas) then we will see the most beautiful waterfall on the trail. After 5 hours walking we will arrive to Playa campsite.

arly morning we begin to walk throught a small hill that will leads us to one of the small dispersed archaeological groups called Llaqtapata, in this place we will see a figured rock that was worked to use it with astronomical purposes. Then we will arrive to hydroelectric train station to have the lunch there, after two hours more on foot we will arrive to Aguas Calientes town where we will enjoy the hot spring, spending the night in a hotel.

 

cusco hike Adventures DAY 5: AGUAS CALIENTES /MACHUPICCHU / CUSCO

We wake up early to walk for one hour until Machupicchu sanctuary getting an extensive guided tour. Then you will have free time to explore by your self the ruins climbing also until Huaynapicchu (top of Machupicchu ruins) on afternoon we take a return bus to Aguas Calientes where our guide wait for us to take the train with direction to Cusco city arriving there around 08:00 pm.
